Corn Bread ain’t nothing wrong with that. Red Rooster has to be one of my favorite restaurants in New York. The corn bread here is dense and hearty and comes with a honey butter and tomato jam. That butter I want to put on all my food and deal with the medical related consequences when I get older.
This time around I decided to turn an appetizer into a main course by pairing Chicken and Waffle with their Shrimp and Grits
I suffered from a mean case of the itis (aka Food coma) from this meal.
A delicious piece of Fried chicken placed atop a waffle with a chicken liver butter and bourbon maple syrup with creamy shrimp and grits. Slap me in the face that’s good
